Kids celebrate Father's Day with gusto

Students of various educational institutions on Saturday held Fathers’ Day celebrations during which they expressed their feeling of gratitude towards their role model, motivator and protectors.

DIPS chain

Father’s Day was celebrated online in all the schools of the DIPS chain. On this occasion, children participated in Father’s Day activity by going online from home. To make this day special, children gave a hug filled with love with cards and bouquets. The students promised to be with him for the rest of their lives. They expressed their love and feelings towards their father through poems and songs. Senior class children made a cake for their father. During this various types of games and antakshari were played online by the teachers for the children and fathers. MD Tarwinder Singh and CAO Ramneek Singh, Jashan Singh said that all the happiness in their life was due to their fathers. Through these lines, he explained to the children that it is the father who sacrifices himself for the happiness of his children. The father is a shady tree for the children.

Eklavya School

Father’s Day is a celebration honouring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, parental bonds and the role of fathers in shaping the lives of their children. The event was organised at Eklavya School virtually with great enthusiasm. Students from kindergarten, primary, middle and senior school exhibited their gratitude for father in the form of songs, dance and poems. The day was celebrated in a very special way by asking students to honour their fathers, their hero, by sharing their pictures with the school online. The spirit of young students was flourished the way they celebrated Father’s Day. It was a time to depict their unending love and gratitude for their fathers. The students marked Father’s Day with a fun-filled programme in which students clicked remarkable pictures with their father to thank them for all the sacrifices which they made for them. They also shared their father’s favourite meal and dedicated beautiful and heartfelt poems and songs to them. Students also shared the character traits of their fathers which they value the most and the importance of father’s in a child’s life. Students made collage of the quotes, messages on the importance of a father figure in their lives. Chairman of the School JK Gupta said a father works tirelessly day and night for his family so that he can educate his children well and support his family. He appreciated virtual celebration to show respect to his hard work. Director Seema Handa remarked that a father plays a very important role in child’s life and this is the beautiful way to convey them all the gratitude we have for them. They also appreciated the efforts of the school for the online celebrations. Principal Komal Arora and school administrator Dimple Malhotra remarked that no other relationship can be equivalent to father and Kids relationship. They also shared that students’ fantastic participation made the event a success.

St Soldier Group of Institutions

“A father always motivates the children to walk on the path of progress and always supports in every difficult times” Saluting this spirit of the father, Father’s Day was celebrated by St Soldier Group of Institutions in Inter College and Bhogpur Branch in which the students of St Soldier along with their fathers participated. Various games and modeling rounds were conducted on this occasion. The students expressed their sentiments towards their father and thanked them and wished them a long life. Inter College Principal Manginder Singh and Bhogpur School Principal Amrik Singh cut the cake of Father’s Day with all fathers, offered sweets and congratulated everyone on Father’s Day and all danced a lot together. Everyone was honoured with a memento on the occasion. Rajan Chopra, Prince Chopra gave bouquet to father Anil Chopra (Chairman, St Soldier Group) and congratulated everyone on this day. While congratulating all the fathers on Father’s Day, Anil Chopra said that fathers are a strong foundation of the family who supports their family financially and mentally. He asked all the children to respect and serve their parents.
