KMSC calls upon women to lead stir, elects office-bearers

He said both governments were favouring the corporate sector at the cost of the farmers’ interests.
During the conference, the zonal-level office bearers were also elected, wherein Kulwinder Kaur Walipur was elected as the senior vice-president and Jasbir Kaur Bugha as the secretary.
Pannu expressed these views at a women conference of Sri Guru Arjun Dev Zone held in Gurdwara Baba Jogi Peer, Manochahal Kalan village. Many women farmers from areas across the district participated in the event.
Satnam Singh Manochahal, district president, and Salwinder Singh Jeobala, zone president, presided over the conference.
In his address, Pannu said with the participation of women in the farmers’ agitation, it must become easy to win the goal against the governments. He said the women were more sincere toward the common cause. He urged them to become more aware of the economical system of the country that was backbone of the farmers’ demands.
