Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Panchal today inspected Lok Sewa camps being held under the “Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar” programme. He also interacted with applicants at the camps.

While visiting Talwandi Kuka and Raawan villages in the Bholath sub-division and Kanjali in Kapurthala, the Deputy Commissioner said 18 camps were held in the district where people got services of various departments on the spot. He urged people to take benefit of these camps as officials of different departments were providing services within a minimal time.

The Deputy Commissioner said on Wednesday, camps would be held at Dogranwala and Alaudipur villages of Kapurthala sub-division in the morning shift and Nawan Pind and Nawan Pind Bhatthe in the afternoon shift. Similarly, camps will be held at Burewal, Nathupur, Amritpur and Amritpur Rajewal villages in Sultanpur Lodhi’s rural area, while two joint camps for different localities would be held in urban areas. In Phagwara, camps will be held at Mayeopatti, Pashntaa and Narur and Nasirabad. SDMs Sanjeev Sharma and Amanpreet Singh among others were also present on the occasion.
