Laptop, cash stolen from money exchanger’s shop

Phagwara, February 19

A money exchanger’s shop was reportedly burgled at Goal Chowk here last night.

The burglars entered the shop after breaking open its shutter and took away goods, including a laptop, and cash. They also damaged the CCTVs installed at the shop.

Shop owner Chander Mohan Gera told the police that he went to his home after closing the shop. When he came to open the shop in the morning, he found it burgled.

The police have registered a case and started investigations into the matter.
