Lovely Professional University student dies by suicide

She was studying Master of Business Administration at the university

A student of Lovely Professional University (LPU) in Phagwara, Punjab, reportedly died by suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of a girls’ hostel late Monday night.

The deceased has been identified as Anushka Aggarwal, a resident of Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh.

She was studying Master of Business Administration at LPU.

After receiving information, Phagwara SDM Jashanjit Singh along with DSP Bharat Bhushan and SHO Balwinder Singh Bhullar rushed to the spot.

The police have handed over the body to her family members who arrived in Phagwara today morning.
