LPU announces scholarship for children of educators

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has launched a special scholarship scheme aimed at supporting the higher education of students whose parents are full-time educators.

This financial aid is available exclusively for the children of full-time teachers, principals, professors, educators and laboratory technicians working in recognised government or private schools, or institutions affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, NIOS, COBSE, or UGC-approved universities and colleges.

The “Shikshak Samman Anudan” scholarship is LPU’s tribute to the dedication of educators. The scheme covers over 150 academic programmes offered by the university.

Under this initiative, eligible students who are not receiving any other scholarship will be awarded 20% financial aid on the total programme fee. For students already benefiting from a scholarship, an additional 20% aid will be provided on the remaining fee after the existing scholarship amount has been deducted. This ensures that all eligible students receive significant financial support.
