LPU scholarship ceremony today

Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) study grant second and third editions’ award ceremony will be held tomorrow (July 18) at the Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium of Lovely Professional University (LPU).
The ceremony will be chaired by Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati. The event will witness distribution of Rs 2.11 crore study grant to 211 meritorious students of the country.
The university management has devised the LPUNEST study grant for meritorious students. Each of the successful students will get Rs 1 lakh to study at top institutions like IITs/ NITs/ IIMs/ NLUs/ IHMs/ NIDs/ IITs (IDC/ DoD)/ IIITDM/ NIFTs, on qualifying the test.
The LPU administration said that monetary constraints should not be an impediment for a deserving student to get quality education. So, the LPU has extended a unique scholarship scheme to students for studying in LPU on various parameters, on qualifying examinations.
