LPU signs pact with German university for research

A three-member team from Germany’s research university Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) visited LPU for collaborative purposes.
The German team met Chancellor Ashok Mittal to seek his association for collective endeavours. Consenting to the mutual talks, Mittal shared that with prestigious international collaborations, the university is regularly enhancing global opportunities for promising students by enriching innovative ways of knowledge dissemination.
The team from FHM included Vice-Chancellor (Research and Development) prof Volker Wittberg; Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) prof Habil Torsten Fischer, and the CEO of Anglo-German Doctoral School prof Richard Merk.
The visiting team held in-depth discussions of mutual understanding with LPU’s teams and other academic units involved in the prestigious collaboration. Both sides signed important MoUs for student and faculty exchange programmes, besides joint research opportunities and publications.
