LPU's motorsport team wins 11 awards at Buddh International Circuit
More than 60 teams from engineering fields across India participated in the events. The LPU teams were challenged to design and fabricate prototype vehicles from scratch, focusing on engineering design, cost and manufacturing, marketability and dynamic performance. The team was crowned overall champion in both the combustion and electric vehicle categories, winning a total cash prize of ₹1.6 lakh.

The Indian Karting Race is a competition that provides a platform for engineering students from institutions across the country to gain hands-on practical experience while applying classroom theories. The LPU team’s accolades include best acceleration, lightweight award and future award in both categories, as well as recognition for best cross pad and runner-up in endurance for the combustion vehicle and best manufacturing and cost award in the electric category.
