Main accused in double murder case nabbed

The main accused in the Chakkowal double murder case, Sukhwinder Singh, alias Sukhi, of Raipur was arrested today by the police after an encounter.

SP (D) Sarabjit Singh Bahia said the police had got a tip-off that Sukhi, the main shooter in the double murder case, was hiding near Hargarh Choe. When the CIA staff and the Bulhowal police tried to arrest him, he fired three shots on the police. During the retaliatory action by the police, a bullet hit the leg of the accused and he was arrested.
