According to a release, Khanna has written a letter to Union Health Minister JP Nadda and also personally met him. Khanna said that whenever Divyangs or special people go to hospitals for health check-ups, they are unable to stand for long or run around like other people. Khanna demanded from Nadda that all hospitals in the country should have separate prescription counters and seating arrangements for Divyangs and special children and they should be given priority for check-ups and medicines. Khanna also demanded from the Union Health Minister that information boards or banners should be installed in all hospitals regarding priority to Divyangs and special children so that it becomes convenient for them to get health facilities.
