The police have registered a case against a person for allegedly misbehaving with a female athlete who is his niece.

According to the complaint filed by the victim, she is a weightlifter and had visited Lovely University to watch a match with her uncle, Prem Bajaj. After the event, the accused allegedly took her to Jalandhar and booked a hotel room, where he misbehaved with her and passed inappropriate comments.

Following the complaint, the police have registered a case under 354A of the IPC against Prem Bajaj, a resident of Tripri, Patiala. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
