Man duped of Rs 10.60 lakh

The police have registered case against three travel agents for allegedly duping a man of Rs 10.60 lakh on the pretext of sending him abroad. The suspects have been identified as Sher Khan, a resident of Mohali, and Sahil and Gurcharan, residents of Nawanshahr.

One Parmesh Singh, a resident of Mukandpur, in his complaint to the police stated that he wanted to go abroad. Parmesh said he came in touch with the three suspects who promised to send him abroad. The complainant said he gave Rs 10.60 lakh to the suspects, but they neither sent him abroad nor returned his money.

The police have registered a case against the three suspects and are conducting raids to nab them.
