An unidentified person was found dead near Santokhpura locality under mysterious circumstances. Residents, who informed the Satnampura police first, alleged that they were asked to report the case to the city police. When residents informed the city police, they were asked to inform the Municipal Corporation. When residents approached officials of the Municipal Corporation, they were asked to send the body to the Civil Hospital.

Ultimately, the Satnampura police took the body of the deceased into custody around 4 pm and shifted it to the Civil Hospital mortuary where it would be kept for identification.
