Man nabbed for selling illicit liquor

The Nurmahal police have arrested a migrant on the charge of selling illicit liquor. Investigating officer (IO) Amrik Raj said nine bottles of hooch were seized from possession of the accused identified as Bora, a native of Uttar Pradesh, presently residing at Natt village.

A case under Sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act was registered against the accused, the IO said.
