The police arrested a Bihari migrant woman liquor trader and recovered 12 boxes and 16 bottles of illicit liquor from her possession last night.

Superintendent of Police Rupinder Kaur Bhatti said that cops got a tip-off about the suspect selling illicit liquor from her Phagwara residence in Gobindpura locality. The police raided the house and arrested the woman, identified as Priyanka. A case under the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the suspect.
