The Commissionerate Police have recovered a minor girl, who had been missing from her house in Mithapur, since the last six days. The girl’s parents work as migrant labourers in the city. Commissioner of Police (CP) Swapan Sharma said the police had got information that an 11-year-old girl had gone missing from the city. He said an FIR No. 153 had been registered under Section 137(2) of the BNS at Division No.7 police station, Jalandhar.

The CP said to locate the girl, technical teams were deployed. He said, the police was able to locate the girl at a park in the Urban Estate area. He said the police reunited the girl with her parents.
