Member of Parliament Dr Raj Kumar Chabbewal inspected the ongoing work at the Parsowal-Bassi Kalan-Chak Sadhu to Bheruan road, to be laid and widened at an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 crore.

Taking stock of the work, Chabbewal, along with MLA Dr Ishank Kumar, said all major roads of the constituency would be widened to 18 feet from the existing 10 so as to provide better transportation to villagers.

The MP said that construction of this 6-km long road is underway. He also interacted with the residents to review other works in the area and assured that all required facilities would be provided.

He said work on Chabbewal-Bajrawar-Patti-Sasoli to Sina link road would be completed at a cost of Rs 4 crore. Apart from this, the 13.06 km road from Hoshiarpur-Phagwara road to Purhiran-Atalgarh-Mehmowal-Falahi-Harmoya via Tajowal Hukkaran is being widened and strengthened at a cost of Rs 5.10 crore.
