Nawanshahr author’s book on finding purpose in life receives acclaim at World Book Fair
A book authored by Nawanshahr resident Ashwani Joshi has received appreciation at the recently held World Book Fair in New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan. Titled, ‘Find Your Ikigai’, the global edition of the book was showcased at Hall No. 5, Stall G29, drawing significant attention from visitors and literary enthusiasts.
The book was earlier launched on December 18, 2024, during the convocation of Rayat Bahra Group of Institutes in Hoshiarpur. The foreword has been penned by Avinash Rai Khanna, national vice-president of the BJP and former Rajya Sabha MP.
The book ‘Find Your Ikigai’ explores the combination of vocation, profession, passion and mission, helping individuals discover their true purpose in life. It also provides insights into leading a healthier, happier and longer life.
During the book launch event, prominent dignitaries, including Rayat Bahra University Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, vice-chancellor of IKG Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Prof Susheel Mittal and Avinash Rai Khanna, appreciated the effort. The chief guest at the convocation was Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria.
“The book presents research-based concepts to enhance one’s life. Through the renowned Shinkansen theory, it underscores the importance of embracing complete transformation to achieve substantial progress, whether for an individual or a nation,” said author Ashwani Joshi.
He said the book’s impactful message and insightful content resonated with readers at the fair, earning positive feedback for its approach to personal and professional growth.
