The cadets of NCC underwent a training session here on Thursday.

As per the instructions issued by the Director General NCC Lieut Gen Gurbirpal Singh, NCC cadets have been undergoing intensive training across the country. Under the leadership of Commanding Officer Colonel Vinod Joshi, 2 Punjab Battalion NCC Jalandhar, NCC cadets from various educational institutions were trained in civil defence and rescue techniques.

At the School of Eminence, Tanda, a 16-member team of the 7th Battalion of the State Disaster Response Force, Bathinda, led by Assistant Commander Pankaj Sharma, NCC cadets and school students were taught first-aid methods, so that immediate help could be provided in an emergency situation. Principal Rajesh Kumar thanked Commanding Officer Colonel Vinod Joshi and Assistant Commanding Officer Pankaj Sharma for instilling in the Indian youth the spirit of security of nationalism.
