Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) in collaboration with the Border Security Force (BSF), Headquarters Punjab Frontier, is organising a five-day bootcamp titled ‘Drone Tech: Exploring Drone Technology Ethics and Applications for BSF’. The programme is being organised from August 26 to 30 under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) initiative. Led by Prof. Arun Khosla and supported by experts like Dr KP Sharma, Dr Samayveer Singh, Dr Om Prakash Verma, the bootcamp aims to enhance BSF personnel’s skills in unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The event was inaugurated by Vikrant Thakur, Deputy Commandant, BSF Punjab Frontier HQ, with Dr Atul Fulzele (IPS) as the chief guest, highlighting the critical role of drones in BSF operations.
