NRI meet in ‘Mini Goa’ on February 3: Dhaliwal

Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that on February 3, the Punjab Government will organise a Pravasi Bharatiya Meet at Chamraur in Pathankot district, known as ‘Mini Goa’, which will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
While talking to DC Komal Mittal and other officials at the local District Administrative Complex today after a special meeting in this regard, he said the arrangements for this NRI meet to be held in Mini Goa by the state government were on war footing. He said in this meet to be held in a pleasant atmosphere on the banks of Ravi river, the government will listen to the problems of NRIs and resolve their issues.
He said in this NRI meet, while the problems of NRIs will be solved, they will also be shown the natural beauty of Punjab. Cabinet Minister Dhaliwal has appealed to the NRIs of the state to reach Chamraur (Mini Goa) in Pathankot district on February 3 and actively participate in the NRI meeting. He said the Punjab Government was always present at the service of NRIs. District Planning Committee Chairperson Karamjeet Kaur, ADC (General) Rahul Chaba, ADC (Development) Balraj Singh, SP Navneet Kaur Gill and other officials were also present.
