A case was registered on a complaint by the victim’s son Satnam Singh. He alleged that neighbour Gurpreet, alias Gopi, informed him about an alleged love affair between Bindar Singh and a girl from Thablke village. The complainant further claimed that the accused also had a relationship with the girl, leading to a possible motive for the crime.

“The body was recovered near Thablke village with injury marks. A murder case has been registered and further investigations are underway,” DSP Sukhpal Singh said.
