Outstanding results by students bring glory to schools in Hoshiarpur

Students of DAV Collegiate Senior Secondary School, Hoshiarpur, have excelled in the 10+2 examinations conducted by the Punjab School Education Board, bringing pride to their parents and the institution.

In the Medical Group, Suhani secured the top position with 93.6%, followed by Shubham with 92%, and Kritika Soni with 91.6%. Ekjot and Vanshpreet also made the institution proud by scoring 91.2% and 90% respectively.

In the Non-Medical Group, Smriti emerged as the top scorer with 95.8%, followed by Pragya with 92.2%, Madhavi with 91.2%, and Nav Bhavika with 90.4%, all of whom showcased outstanding performance. The Commerce Group also recorded brilliant results. Dupinder Kaur topped with 96.2%, followed closely by Akanksha Nakra with 96%, and Lavi Mangar with 94.2%. Other notable performers include Riddhima Agarwal with 94%, Shrishti Walia with 92.8%, Manmeet Kaur with 92.2%, Kritika Sharma and Ashish Chaubey with 91% each, while Gurleen Kaur and Tania both secured 90%.

In the Arts Group, Manraj Singh stood first with 94%, followed by Aastha Sadana with 91.6% and Muskan with 90%.

Dr Rupakshi Bagga, In-charge of the Collegiate School, shared that 25 students scored above 85% and around 40 students scored more than 80%. On the students’ success, Chairman of the College Managing Committee Dr. Anoop Kumar, Secretary RM Bhalla, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vinay Kumar, and Dean Examinations Assistant Prof. Naveen Kumar expressed immense joy and encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence through hard work.

Talwara

Two students of Meritorious School, Talwara, have earned distinction in the Punjab School Education Board’s Class 12 result by securing positions in the state merit list, making the district and their school proud.

School Principal Sunil Mehral informed that Diksha, a medical stream student and daughter of Nand Kishore, secured the 10th position in Punjab and 9th in the district by scoring 490 out of 500 marks. In the non-medical stream, Srishti Dogra, daughter of Navy Chatak, secured the 13th position in the state and 24th in the district with 487 out of 500 marks.

The principal added that the school achieved a 100 percent result, attributing the success to the dedicated efforts of the students and the capable leadership of the school staff. He congratulated all staff members, students, and their families on this remarkable achievement.
