Panjab varsity wins inter-university football tournament at GNA varsity

GNA University recently hosted the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) North Zone Inter-University Football Tournament (Men), with over 30 teams from institutions including Chandigarh University, Punjabi University, University of Jammu and Guru Nanak Dev University. About 700 football players and their coaches showcased their skills and sportsmanship at the event.

The tournament kicked off with 16 teams competing in the elimination rounds on the first day, followed by knockout matches on the second. In the end, Panjab University, Chandigarh, claimed the trophy and a gold medal, while Punjabi University, Patiala secured the silver. They were followed by GNA University in the third spot, earning

the bronze.
