Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders like former Union Minister Som Parkash, Vijay Sampla, former Rajya Sabha Member Avinash Rai Khanna, national farmers’ leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal and media panellist Parminder Mehta today hailed the party’s landslide victory in Delhi, terming it as a vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Maha-Vikas’ (mega development) to make India a developed nation.
They said that the people of the National Capital imposed faith in Modi’s leadership and his agenda of ‘development’ and ‘progress’.
They also praised the efforts made by Home Minister Amit Shah and national BJP chief JP Nadda for steering the party to the historic win that routed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led by Arvind Kejriwal.
