Phagwara Improvement Trust chief organises free of cost medical camp in village Meharu

In a bid to provide relief to flood-hit families, a free medical camp was organised on Thursday at village Meharu under the leadership of Jarnail Nangal, Chairman of the Improvement Trust Phagwara and Aam Aadmi Party’s SC Wing Doaba Zone In charge.

The camp was conducted with the support of his team and witnessed the presence of prominent leaders, including Gurpreet Singh GP, President of the SC Wing Punjab and former MLA, along with Robin Sampla. Medical services were extended to the villagers by doctors including Dr Amarjit Abadi, Dr Ramesh Kumar and Dr Mukesh Kumar.

Speaking on the occasion, Jarnail Nangal stated that a series of such free medical camps are being organised across the flood-affected areas of Phagwara. Besides healthcare support, essential food supplies were also distributed among the affected families by the state leadership.

He assured the people that the Punjab government stands firmly with them during this difficult time and that no household will be left without necessary assistance.
