The initiative, aimed at promoting cashless transactions and simplifying municipal services, was jointly inaugurated by Hon’ble Mayor Ram Pal Uppal and Municipal Commissioner Dr Akshita Gupta, IAS.

The newly introduced system enables residents to make on-the-spot property tax payments through debit and credit cards using PoS terminals, ensuring a faster, more secure and transparent transaction process. This move is part of a broader strategy to reduce manual dependency, eliminate delays and reinforce accountability in urban governance.
