In a significant political development, the entire panchayat of Bhullarai village in Phagwara assembly constituency, under the leadership of sarpanch Rajat Bhanot, has announced its decision to join the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The new members were welcomed into the party fold by AAP Halqa in-charge Joginder Singh Mann and Punjab AAP spokesperson Harnoor Singh Harji Mann.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch Rajat Bhanot said the decision was made unanimously by the panchayat, keeping in view the comprehensive rural development initiatives undertaken by the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Government. He emphasised that the party’s commitment to village infrastructure and welfare prompted them to extend their support to AAP.
Joginder Singh Mann extended a warm welcome to sarpanch Bhanot and panchayat members.
The event was attended by senior AAP leaders, including Daljeet Singh Raju Darvesh, Varun Bangar (Chak Hakim village sarpanch), Keshav Gandwa, and Rajan Sharma, along with party workers.
