Van Mahotsav week organised

A Van Mahotsav Week was organised at Dips School, Surranussi, to make the students aware of nature. Various programmes were organised on the occasion. The students gave the message of importance of trees in life and forest conservation through drama. The student danced on the songs 'Na katho mujhe...' and told about the pain of the trees. The children say that plants are also like human beings, they also feel sad and wither when they are harmed. After the programme, the children together planted saplings in the school garden and took a vow to always take care of them. Teachers explained to the children that due to increasing pollution, many new diseases are increasing every day in the world. The main reason for this pollution is the lack of trees on the earth and the increase in vehicles on the roads. Everyperson should plant at least five trees in his life and take care of them throughout his life. School Principal Bela Kapoor said in today's time the environmental balance was deteriorating, in such a situation it is very important to make the students aware about it. The danger of global warming is looming all over the world, if we are not alert today, then the coming generations will not forgive us.
