PM Internship Scheme to be implemented in district

The government is offering 12 months internship in the top 500 companies of the country under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS). The applicants who do internship under the scheme will be given one-time financial assistance of Rs 6000 and monthly allowance of Rs 5000.

District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Ramandeep Kaur said this opportunity is beneficial for the applicants to get experience in the top companies. Candidates applying under this scheme should keep in mind that the age of the candidate should be between 21 and 24 years, the candidate should not be enrolled in full-time studies or full-time employment, any candidate with educational qualification of High School, Higher Secondary School, ITI, Polytechnic or Graduation (BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, BPharma etc.) can apply under the scheme.

The family income of the candidate should be less than 8 lakh and no one in the candidate's family should be in a government job. To get an internship under this scheme, one can apply on the pminternshipscheme.com portal till March 12. The District Employment Officer said interested and eligible candidates can apply through the portal and get maximum benefit from this scheme.
