Poetry book ‘Lafzan De Sagar’ released

With the aim of increasing creativity in Punjabi language and literature, a joint collection of poetry, ‘Lafzan De Sagar’, by Ramnik Singh Ghumman and Jashnjot Ghumman, was launched at the District Language Office, Hoshiarpur, by Research Officer Dr Jaswant Rai, Assistant Public Relations Officer Lokesh Choubey and Assistant Director, Youth Services Department, Preet Kohli.
Talking about creativity in the poetry collection, Dr Jaswant Rai said that this was the first collection of poetry by the father and daughter duo. The poems have a romantic vision as well as spirituality, dialogue with oneself, history and mythology, power to love and respect oneself, breaking social barriers and creating an open narrative of a life of equality.
