Jalandhar: A farewell party for the students of Class XII was organised at Police DAV Public School. Principal Dr Rashmi Vij was the guest of honour. A melodious musical presentation by Arjun, Piyush, Rahul and Gurpreet mesmerised every one. Emotions welled up as head boy Abhimanyu, head girl Tanvi Khanna, Tanush Shoor, Aahna and Bhavya shared the precious memories associated with the school and expressed gratitude for the contribution of the school in shaping their lives. Students were wearing colourful dresses. Mr Police DAV title went to Abhimanyu Rathour and Miss Police DAV title was bagged by Mehakpreet. Ansh Mehra, Jagrit, Shweta Saini, Tanisha Goyal, Mehak and Disha were declared the Principal’s favourites.

Mayor World School

Mayor World School organised a two-day CBSE workshop on Classroom Management for the educators on February 2 and 3. The primary objective of the workshop was to empower the educators with crucial abilities to cultivate a positive and structured classroom environment. Madhu Sharma, former Principal, CT World School, and Rajwinder Pal, Principal, MGN Public School, were the resource persons. The participating teachers enthusiastically engaged in discussions, shared experiences, and collaborated on developing personalised classroom management plans. The workshop’s interactive methodology provided the educators with valuable and pragmatic insights tailored to their specific teaching contexts.

Delhi Public School

Delhi Public School hosted a heartwarming farewell to the graduating batch 2023-24. The event, themed ‘Valedictory Voyage’ connected deeply with feelings of nostalgia, laughter, and heartfelt emotions as students and faculty came together to celebrate the completion of an important phase in the students’ lives. The farewell ceremony commenced with a warm welcome speech, setting the tone for the emotional journey ahead. Principal Ritu Kaul took the children down the memory lane and delivered an inspiring message. She advised students to work hard for their board exams, emphasizing the importance of dedication and perseverance. She encouraged students to embody the core values. Musical performances, including choir presentations and solo music, captivated the audience and added to the nostalgic ambience of the event.

Innocent Hearts

A farewell ceremony (Hasta la Vista) was organised at Innocent Hearts, Green Model Town, and Loharan, to give blessings and good wishes to the students of Class XII. Dance teacher Piyush enthralled the audience with his brilliant dance performance. Dr Palak Gupta Bowry (Director CSR), Rajeev Paliwal (Principal Green Model Town) and Shallu Sehgal (Principal Loharan) and Dheeraj Banati (Deputy Director, Extension Affiliation, Planning and Implementation) presented awards to the students who showed sincerity towards the school. Modelling was the centre of attraction in this programme. Dhananjay Puri (Green Model Town) and Krish Sodhi (Loharan) were awarded the title of Mr Innocent and Vritti Seth (Green Model Town) and Yashika Sharma (Loharan) were awarded the title of Miss Innocent. Head girl of each school presented a vote of thanks on behalf of the students of Class XII. To make this day memorable, proper arrangements for DJ and food were made by the management.

Hindu Kanya College

The students of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala, who brought laurels to the institution by clinching the overall trophy in the two-day Open Youth Festival organised by Youth Services, Kapurthala, were honoured by the college in a special assembly. College principal Dr Archna Garg congratulated the mentors and winners for their outstanding performance and commendable accomplishment in fine arts, musical, theatre and literary items. Neha and group in Group Folk Song and Kavishri got the 1st position. Ramneek in Best Out of Waste, Parveen Kaur in cartooning, Rajwinder Kaur in Pakhi Making, Sakshi in collage making, Kirandeep Kaur in clay modelling, Sukhmanmeet Kaur in poster making, Karandeep Kaur in poetical recitation, Anchalpreet Kaur in declamation bagged first position, and Sumandeep Kaur in phulkari.

New St Soldier Sr Sec Public School

A farewell ceremony was organised for the students of the science, commerce and arts streams of Plus Two at New St Soldier Senior Secondary Public School, Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar. A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students of Plus One. Students of Plus Two did modelling. The best model was selected among them. Fun games were organised for the Plus Two students. The title of Master New Saint Soldier was given to Balram Suri and the title of Miss New Saint Soldier was given to Nancy. The Student of the Year award was given to Harry from Plus Two Science and Anshika from Plus Two Arts. Director Sushma Handa wished the students all the best for a happy future.
