The students of Swami Sarvananda Giri Panjab University Regional Centre (PUSSGRC), Hoshiarpur, have brightened their future by getting placements with excellent packages this session. Giving the above information during a press conference held here, PUSSGRC Director Dr HS Bains said that in this year’s ongoing placement session, Kaavya Gupta, a student of University Institute of Engineering and Technology, PUSSSGRC, has got placement in Cisco company with a package of Rs 25 lakh. The placement was off campus. Similarly, during on campus placement, another student Yashvardhan Jyani has got placement in Josh Technologies with a package of Rs 13.3 lakh. He informed that all the students seeking placement through Training and Placement Cell (TPC) have been placed.

TCP in-charge Dr Brajesh Sharma informed that almost all the students of UIET who had applied for placement through TPC this time have got placements in various multinational companies and major startups with good packages. He informed that 45 companies participated in this placement session, including 22 new recruiters. The highest on-campus package was 13.2 LPA and highest off campus package was 25 LPA.

In response to a question, he said that looking at the profile of UIET students, the company offered not only entry level but also higher level recruitment. During this, students who got placements on good packages in various companies shared their experiences.
