The Punjab sub-junior women’s hockey team has departed for Ranchi, Jharkhand, to participate in the 15th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship, scheduled from July 3 to July 13.

Tanu Rani from the PIS Mohali Centre has been named captain of the team. Sharing the update, Hockey Punjab President Nitin Kohli and General Secretary Amrik Singh Powar stated that the team has been outfitted with premium sports kits and tracksuits, courtesy of RoundGlass Sports. Punjab will open their campaign against Odisha on July 7.

In addition to captain Tanu Rani, the squad features Harry, Sukhmanpreet Kaur, Rajpreet Kaur, Navjot Kaur, Rashmeen Kaur, Saloni, Tania Chandelia, Sandhya Shastri, Ramandeep Kaur, Taranvir Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Ramandeep Kaur, Jaishmin Gill, Sania Khan, Tania Verma, Germanpreet Kaur, and Evenit Kaur. The team is being coached by Ankita Sharma and managed by Mandeep Singh.
