The selection trials of the Punjab Senior Women’s Hockey Team will be held on February 7. The selected ones will participate in the 15th Hockey India Senior National Women’s Hockey Championship that will be organised by Hockey India in Panchkula, Haryana. The championship will be organised from March 1 to 12. The trials will be held on Friday at 10 am at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar.
Giving information in this regard, Hockey Punjab president Nitin Kohli and general secretary Amrik Singh Powar said that only players belonging to Punjab and registered with Hockey India could participate in these trials.
“Players should bring their original Aadhaar cards during the selection trials. Without these, they will not be allowed to participate in the selection trials. A coaching camp will be organised for the selected players,” the officials said.
