As many as 300 students of Guru Nanak Prem Karamsar School, Nadala, under the Punjab government’s campaign “Yudh Nashian Virudh” took out a rally to create awareness about the ill-effects of drugs. The rally was flagged off by SDM Davy Goel. During the rally, people in Nadala town were informed about the ill-effects of drugs, following which the participants returned to the school, where the rally ended.

The SDM said students had been made a part of the anti-drug movement in schools of Bholath constituency. He said that seminars, rallies, essay writing and painting competitions were being organised in schools to create awareness about drugs.

Goel invited students to become ambassadors of the anti-drug campaign. He asked them to tell the people around them about the ill-effects of drugs and how to check its spread. The students held placards with anti-drug slogans in their hands and invited people to be a part of the anti-drug campaign.
