A Dharma Raksha Rally was organised by Punjab Bachao Morcha in Jalandhar today to raise public awareness about alleged illegal religious conversions carried out through fraud, enticement or coercion.
Hundreds of representatives from Sikh, Hindu and Christian organisations across Punjab participated, voicing concerns over what they termed unlawful conversion practices. A memorandum highlighting various alleged illegalities was submitted to police officials, seeking strict action.
