The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state spokesperson and Phagwara Assembly constituency in-charge, Harji Mann, officially inaugurated the construction of two new link roads connecting villages in the segment.

The first 3 km road connects Rihana Jattan village with Lutera Khurd village, while the second, 3.8 km road runs from Phagwara to Dumeli via Mirapur Gujaratan village. The total project cost is Rs 1.0775 crore, with Rs 62.42 lakh allocated for the Rihana Jattan–Lutera Khurd road and Rs 45.33 lakh for the Phagwara–Dumeli road.

During the inauguration, Mann assured residents that the construction and maintenance of link roads in all villages would be carried out as per needs. He also promised to expedite pending works in villages to ensure comprehensive development.

Several local leaders, including village heads and block coordinators from Rihana Jattan, Madhopur, Dumeli and Mirapur villages, attended the event.
