The Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has solved a robbery case with the arrest of a person and recovered a motorcycle from his possession.

The incident occurred on October 31 near the water treatment plant behind Pholriwal village, where an individual was robbed of a motorcycle and mobile phone. Following the complaint, an FIR was registered on November 4 at Police Station, Sadar, under Sections 304(2), 126(5) and 3(5) of the BNS Act.

Through meticulous investigation, the police identified the primary suspect as Raja, alias Raja Ram, a resident of village Kalyanpur, Jalandhar. The accused was apprehended and the motorcycle, bearing registration number PB08-CN-1637, was recovered from his possession.

Commissioner Swapan Sharma confirmed that efforts were underway to apprehend two other individuals involved in the crime. "The police remain committed to ensuring justice and maintaining law and order in the city", he added.
