Rotary members at Unique Home

Jalandhar: The Rotary Club of Jalandhar started its new session by celebrating with the children of Unique Home and spending time with them. “We wanted to start on an auspicious note and a visit to Unique Home was planned,” said president, Prabhpal Singh Pannu. A group of senior-most members of the club visited the club and interacted with children. “The home houses over 70 girls (six months to 22-year-old),” said Mandeep Singh, secretary. All members gifted utility items to children. Parkash Kaur, founder, said the place houses baby girls who are abandoned, even found in garbage bags. TNS

SBI gives food at Pingla Ghar

Jalandhar: On the 65th Foundation Day of State Bank of India, the officers of DAV university branch of the SBI spent time at Pingla Ghar located on Gulab Devi Road. They also provided food items for mentally challenged children. Regional Manager Pradeep Kumar said SBI works with every section of society and stands with them. TNS
