The celebrations commenced with a hawan ceremony, invoking blessings. Students then rendered a musical fusion in Raag Bhairav, followed by a Saraswati Vandana and Krishna dance by the pre primary wing. A patriotic dance, “Bade Chalo,” stirred patriotic fervour, while senior students performed a fusion dance representing India’s four directions — East, West, North and South — symbolising the country’s unity in diversity.
Chander Mohan, President of Arya Shiksha Mandal, along with Neerja Chander Mohan, a member, graced the function as chief guests. The programme closed with the National Anthem, followed by Diwali celebrations in the school courtyard.
