Sarkar Aapke Dwar: Special camp held at Khalwara to resolve public grievances
Phagwara, August 6
As part of Punjab government’s ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ initiative, a special camp was organised at the community hall in village Khalwara, Phagwara today. The camp aimed to address public grievances on the spot and offer various citizen-centric services related to different government departments.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Joginder Singh Mann listened to the issues raised by attendees at the camp and directed the officials present to resolve the matter immediately. He stated that these special camps are being organised by the state government to reduce public inconvenience and ensure that their problems are resolved as quickly as possible. Instead of making people visit offices, the government is bringing services directly to the people to address their issues on-site.
Mann also handed over necessary documents to the public on the occasion. Phagwara SDM Jashanjit Singh reported that 86 applications for citizen-centric services were submitted during the camp of which 66 services were provided on the spot. He assured that instructions were given to officials to take up the remaining applications promptly. — OC
