A 30KW solar panel system was donated by State Bank of India (SBI) under CSR for the convenience of the inmates living at Apahaj Ashram.

Chairman of State Bank of India Dinesh Kumar Khara and his wife Anita Khara inaugurated the solar panel system. The duo was welcomed by Tarsem Kapoor, Chairman, Apahaj Ashram, and Sunita Kapoor, Co-Chairperson. They also reviewed the facilities provided by the ashram.

Along with Dinesh Kumar Khara and Anita Khara, Chief General Manager of SBI, Krishna Sharma and his wife Asha Sharma also visited the ashram and took blessings from them by distributing fruits to the elderly and dependents living there. He also fed cows fodder in the cowshed run by the ashram.

The visitors also viewed medical facilities provided by the Lala Ram Kishore Kapoor Handicapped Aid Trust located at the Apahaj Ashram. — TNS
