SDMs to receive objections for SGPC draft voter list

Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Electoral Officer Amit Kumar Panchal announced that the draft voter list for the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) elections has been published, and voters can file claims and objections regarding the list until January 24. To facilitate this process, the Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) of Phagwara, Kapurthala, and Bholath have been designated as the Revising Authorities for their respective constituencies.

For the Phagwara (84) constituency, Phagwara SDM has been appointed to oversee claims and objections for Phagwara tehsil and parts of Sultanpur Lodhi tehsil, excluding the Kanungo Circle Tibba and Patwar Circle Talwandi Chaudhriyan. Similarly, Kapurthala SDM has been assigned as the Revising Authority for the Kapurthala (85) constituency, which includes Kapurthala tehsil and certain areas of Sultanpur Lodhi tehsil, such as Kanungo Circle Tibba and Patwar Circle Talwandi Chaudhriyan, but excludes Kanungo Circles Ramidi, Dhilwan, and Fattu Dhingha.
