Since her teenage, modelling had been Seerrat’s first love. Then as a Chandigarh girl, she used to participate in ramp shows. Continuing to maintain herself in the world of glitz and glamour, she has recently been selected as the brand ambassador of Mrs India Asia 2025 by Fashion Meraki. The event was held in the national capital.

Chawla, who was on a photoshoot even today, said, “I had participated in the Mrs India Asia pageant even last year. I was among the top 10 screened by the organisers. I got the title of Ms Style Icon 2024. A year since the event, I kept doing various modelling assignments including bridal shoots and ramp walks for heritage fashion shows. This time again there were 75 contestants who had claimed their coveted brand ambassador title. But they picked me seeing my work and the way I represented them for a year.”

The model said that she was doing paid shoots for various make-up artists. “Its a job that demands a lot of patience, self-maintenance and time. I also have to travel to various places. To maintain myself, I need to take care of my diet, exercise, good sleep and skin and hair care”, Seerrat shared.

She added, “I could not have done all this without the support of my family, especially my husband Abhilaksh Chawla, who runs an immigration firm. My son is 10-year-old and my daughter is five-year. Our mother takes care of both of them while I am away. In between whenever I am free, we spend a good quality time with one another.”

Seerrat had also tried her luck in Pollywood film Yaar Anmulle. She has even done shoots for video albums but maintains that she somehow did not enjoy acting as much as she does the ramp walk. “The passion to be seen on stage, to be clicked, followed on social media and chasing the fame was, is and will always keep me going”, she concluded.
