The Business School at GNA University successfully hosted a national seminar on “Digital Transformation in Education: Integrating Technology for Enhanced Learning,” sponsored by the ICSSR North-Western Regional Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

This event brought together distinguished academicians, researchers, industry experts and policymakers to discuss the evolving landscape of education through digital innovations. The seminar explored the role of technology in enhancing learning experiences, promoting inclusive education, and addressing contemporary challenges in the education sector.

Over 45 research papers from 20 different institutions across North India were submitted, showcasing the vibrant academic interest in this field. The seminar featured eight technical sessions on various themes related to digital transformation in education.

The event was graced by Dr Hemant Sharma, the Vice Chancellor of GNA University; Dr Monika Hanspal, Dean of Academics & Systems and Operations and Director of IQAC, GNA University; and Dr Sameer Varma, Dean of GBS, GNA University. The keynote address was delivered by Dr Rajesh Verma, Professor and Senior Dean at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara.

The technical sessions were chaired by prominent academicians, including Dr Deepak Pandey, Professor at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, Greater Noida; Dr Mamta Chawla, Associate Professor at Amity University, Noida; Dr Ashish Saihjpal, Associate Professor at University Business School, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana; Dr Ankit Dhamija, Associate Professor at Manipal University, Jaipur; and Dr Rajpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor at IKG PTU.
