Shanties gutted in fire at Sikri village

A fire broke out at the grain market of Sikri village here on Friday. The fire reduced shanties to ashes.
The fire destroyed all their goods and money kept in the jhuggies. Within no time flames engulfed the shanties. People tried to bring the fire under control, before the fire brigade people reach there.
Hutments of Ramji, Ramavatar, Babita, Loha Singh, Pradeep, Chhotu Ram, Savitri, Saravan, Prabhu Diyal, Aarti, Pramod and about 17 families were destroyed in the fire, who had come from Bihar and other states to earn their livelihood.
The victims of the fire told that all their cash and goods were destroyed in the fire.
