Shivani, Nirankar selected in state senior T-20 cricket camp
Hoshiarpur District Cricket Association (HDCA) expressed happiness over the selection of Shivani and Nirankar in the camp organised by Punjab Cricket Association for the selection of Punjab Senior Women 20-20 team.
Providing information in this regard, HDCA Secretary Raman Ghai said the camp being organised in Ropar from September 13 to 19. PCA coaches will train the players and they will have practice matches. Ghai said the Punjab team will be selected on the basis of the performance of the players in this camp. HDCA president Daljit Khelan expressed happiness on behalf of the group association on the players’ selection.
On the occasion, HDCA District Women Coach Davinder Kaur Kalyan expressed happiness on the selection of Shivani and Nirankar and hoped that the players will perform well. Ghai said apart from Shivani and Nirankar, HDCA U-19 team players Surabhi, Anjali, Suhana and Aastha are already participating in Punjab U-19 camp, Patiala.
