World Awareness Day was celebrated by the Swadeshi Jagran Manch on Sunday, seeking to keep Covid vaccine patent free. Workers of the manch took part in the programme organised at Adda Mahilpur Chowk, carrying posters and banners, demanding to make the Covid vaccine accessible to all.
Vishal, a member, said, patents will prevent easy access to vaccines. “We know the importance of human life and how important the vaccine accessibility to save the human life. That’s why every person should get a cheap and easy vaccine.”
National Executive Member Krishan Sharma said this programme was being organised all over the country. Apart from this, social organisations and governments of other countries of the world have been urged to build pressure on the World Health Organisation and World Trade Organisation to keep the vaccine patent free so that human life can be saved.
On this occasion, the Vibhag Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishal and national executive member of manch, Krishan Sharma were present.
